Keep the Feet On was recorded live at Bean Central in Nashville, Tennessee in 2002.

In 2001 and 2002, Paul formed and played with The Uninsurables, an Americana based group which recorded the cd Keep the Feet On. The recording was created with live takes after hours at a coffee shop/music venue in Nashville in order to recreate a sound more in the tradition of the 50s and early 60s recordings.
The recordings from The Uninsurables include live renditions of favorites from the band members, especially Paul's favorite artists, including songs from Bob Dylan, Hank
Williams, Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly. All of these artists have been mainstays on Paul's record table throughout the years.
On skins Shannon Pollard, grandson of the legendary Country Hall of Fame singer Eddy Arnold, played in the group after his stint with Paul in Chilhowie. Andy Chelton, bass player in the 90s with Singing Sgt. Washington, a band name running head to head with Chilhowie as one of the worst band names ever, played upright bass in The Uninsurables.
Rounding it off on steel guitar, dobro and banjo is one of Music City's hot session and road players, Steve Byam.
The Uninsurables would like to thank Chad Harrison, former geetar player with Sit A While With Ned (and here you have winner of worst band name ever!), for performing recording and mixing duties on Keep the Feet On.
